PS5 Cottage Living - Animals & shed not working
I've seen other people having this same issue and there doesn't seem to be any resolution for it. I have 4 llamas that are stuck in my household inventory, and I can't assign them to a shed or buy new animals for the shed. I can't sell the animals that are stuck in the household inventory. When I try to sell them, I get a message that says "can't complete action due to an undeletable object." I've also tried building new sheds and assigning animals, or purchasing new animals for the shed, but nothing is happening. I can assign an animal, but it doesn't actually show up in the shed, and the same thing happens when I try to purchase one. Why does this keep happening and how can it be fixed?Latest Update Causing Problems
I was only on Sims 4 a few weeks ago, but since then there has been this update. Obviously, any mods I had might need updating so I haven't re-alllowed mods yet (but deperately want to put MCC Command back on). However, the glitches in the game have made it frustrating to play. My sims seem to take forever to do anything, quite often do the very opposite of what I've asked and the needs bar goes mental! Sudden, desperate red bars. I have two infants so this is an absolute nightmare. Despite having 4 adults in the family, it's near impossible to play without one or all being in the red somewhere, team that up with inaction and basically, I've nearly had either the infants or the pet taken away!
How to get sims to use vending machines on small business lots?
I'd love to set up a vending machine park as a small business but no matter what I do, sims don't interact with the vending machines on my small business lot. Has anyone had any success with this or have tips to get sims to use them? Thanks!
Romantic interactions missing (love struck)
I have the love struck I decided to play with one of my old saved data married couples that I had before I purchased the love struck so this couple's friendship bar & romantic bar is maxed out they can flirt with each other and can do all the basic game romantic interactions. The two issues are: They can't ask each other about how "romantic satisfied" with each they are They cant seem to be nothing more than just attracted to each other, they have almost the same similarities as far as like,dislikes,romantic styles, way of life,, hair color, clothes, etc but nothing it just doesn't click their still very much in love tho. I tried couple therapy, I tried "check out" interactions, I turn on and off the attractive to other sims just be make sure reinstalled nothing works. Is it because this is a old saved data ...Please help me help this couple!!!
What’s happening with my game?
I’m having an issue with my sims 4 game. it’s lagging and W’s are showing up where the words are supposed to be. I tried turning off mods but it’s still there. ALSO!! i can’t load into my saved game? my sims are gone, but still in my gallery and my load games. how can i fix this? i tried to repair and everything but it just doesn’t work??
"For Rent" expansion added numerous issues
I have most of the expansions and a handful of packs for the Sims 4. The newest one I got was the "For Rent" expansion. Deactivating mods did not change anything. Even when I deleted the cache afterwards. It makes no difference whether I have my custom content active or not. I have no mods that include scripts. I started the Toddler challenge with one adult and 4 toddlers and moved them into an apartment. Numerous things do not work properly. Regularly interface elements will not be responsive: I hear the clicking sound, for example for tutorial popups, but it won't open anything. Or elements are missing from the interface entirely. For example when there is a holiday, I will see the holiday banner but the icons for the activities will be missing. The worst thing is that my Sims behave abnormally. When I add an action to give food to a toddler, my adult sim will either stare at the toddler for multiple ingame hours. Or they pick them up, put them down, pick them up again, multiple times. Nothing is in the way, no other adult sim interfering. It sometimes works, sometimes it does not. That's happening with all care interactions. Giving a bath, reading a book, etc. Sometimes my Sim will not go to work, with no explanation given. There is a nanny, the sims needs are topped up, nothing is in the way. They won't go to work even if I click the "Go to Work" button. They will just continue doing random other stuff. At other times my sim will be at work supposedly, their icon is faded and they have the suitcase symbol. But they are actually at home and I can give them activities to do, which they will do. Most of the time my Sim is in underwear. Even though they have an outfit for every occassion. Or everyone, including the toddlers, will randomly switch to winter clothing indoors when I resume the game. It doesn't matter if I have custom content activated or not. This does happen with just original Sims outfits. The neighbours will be loud, but no one is there. I broke into the neighbours apartment and no one was there. When I tried to go back home it was impossible because apparently there was a "social event" happening in my home. I had to force quit the game to make it work again. Sometimes goo, the nanny, or random other things / Sims are apparently entering / spawning in the apartment but they aren't really IN the apartment. They will tell me they need to go home, but there is no one there. Or my toddlers have actions to interact with them, but they can't reach them (because they aren't really there). In general my sim will randomly not do actions. Without a reason. Othertimes action will stay in the action stack, even though my Sim already did them (e.g. hiring a repair service). The repair sim will come, fix, get paid, but the action of hiring someone will stay in my action stack and even when I cross it out, it won't get removed. What I already tried: - deactivating all of my mods (I only have custom content mods, no scripts) - restarting the game multiple times - playing another household in an apartment (the same issues) - playing a household not in an apartment (it's slightly better but the interface bugs remain) - deleting localsimtexturecache.package and localthumbcache.packageLots not appearing
None of the lot features are appearing, I first noticed this with the Get to work pack, when the police department and hospital wouldn't come up when going to work with my sim, but then I went to have my wedding at the museum community lot and the museum was blank also my sims just stood outside on the sidewalk, I have updated, repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled deleted cache.. all the things HELP
Culling question
Hi, so I had one of the Sim from my played household die of old age and I missed the (frankly really short) amount of time to strengthen his connection so his ghost stays. He died while I was playing another household. I'm a rotational player. I read around that the ghost is probably already 100% gone from the save. My main problem is that he's culled from the Family Tree and he's related to quite a few of my Sims, making the tree wonky. But when I opened the Profile of his child, all the family relation labels are still there. I played his child's household and he still shows up as the father in the Family Tree, but he no longer shows up when I looked at his sister's Family Tree. Is there anything I can do about this other than rerolling saves? I realized this a little too late and I recently backed up my save that he's probably already gone in :(Vampire cure - ineffective. Help!
So, here's the story of Lilleth. When I started playing her (Vatore, Sim created) I thought I'd cure her so being a smarty pants I went into CASfulleditmode. Despite changing the occult to a pink dude, I then had a vampire who pukes constantly, has married, has a daughter (a pregnant vampire - think Twilight?) has a job at the hospital, walks around in the daytime (think Blade) and will not touch plasma pouches. I tried the cheat 'trait trait etc' which did not change a thing. I got fed up of the growling and shouting 'gentle' every two minutes, so I grew the ingredients, made the vile concoction that is the Ultimate cure. She drank it - three times now. Ultimate cure? No. She has, at least, stopped vomiting. Not once has she ever harmed another Sim and she does not have the (think Supernatural) stake/destroy/gank option. If she does harm someone then my only option will be to take her out more creatively; but I like her and would much prefer to cure her. Any suggestions?
Gno gnomes at Thanksgiving?
I was just playing a lot in the Scandinavian town from "Business and Hobblies" and Thanksgiving came around but there were no gnomes on the lot for the day? Is this something new caused by the update or could it just be that lot was too small for the gnomes to appear or what? I have never had a holiday when they didn't come.
Evergreen Harbor is missing the Eco Status overlay
I had planned to start a new Save in Evergreen Harbor today. When I checked the world map, the optional view for the eco status overlay was missing. Each neighborhood pulses with a slight tinted glow when the mouse passes over, but the normal eco status lines are missing. I removed all mods, still missing. I Repaired the game, still missing. When playing a household, I remember there was a eco status bar as well. That is also missing. I'm assuming that this glitch was introduced by the last update, but can't swear to it since I haven't played this world for a few weeks.Sims keeps glitching
For some reason, anytime I try to change a sim in cas it never saves when I’m done or try to change the sims outfit out of cas. Also when my sim has a lover, the romance goes away very quickly and pretty much disappears after they hang out. And the male lovers’ voices keep changing to female but in cas it’s back to normal. Could someone please help me figure this out?Sims routing error for infant interaction
I'm having trouble have my sims take care of their infant, as when I have any of them try to pick up / feed / bathe the child they get the routing error pop up above their head. I was wondering if this is a problem anyone else was experiencing and if anyone knows how to fix. I have tried troubleshooting by teleporting the baby into the middle of the room incase there was an obstacle that meant they couldn't get to the baby but is still not working
