Can’t use gallery - content was created with newer game version error
Been trying to build some houses for my Newcrest world I just don’t like building. Every time I find something nice to download into my game it says I don’t have the lastest sims version when I do ;(. all of my data is gone...
i havent played the sims on my xbox in almost a year. i switched to laptop and much prefer it. however, there were some sims on my xbox gallery that i wanted on my laptop. so today i did just that. opened the game and uploaded the sims to the gallery successfully. a few hours later, i also wanted to upload a house i had built so i could download it on my laptop. same process. however, when i opened my game this time on my xbox, i was greeted with the terms of service page. thought it was odd but accepted. then it asked for screen adjustment. still weird. then after that i saw that ALL of my saves were gone from over the years. i opened the gallery and all of my gallery saves were gone too. it was like i was starting the game fresh. so yeah i panicked and found out that many people were having the same issue months ago. but the issue was never resolved. so is all of my data completely gone? was it corrupted? im so lost and confused. very upset as well because i had saves i had made from 2019 on there. its just jarring to think that all of my progress is gone and was for nothing. is there anything i can do, or do i just move on and play on my laptop forever?Solvedlemoniphonia15 days agoRising Newcomer67Views0likes1Comment
Corrupted Save File wont load past opening load screen.
So for the last 2 hours I've been trying to play the sims 4 on PS5, I've resetted, cleared cache, reinstalled. Now everything over 300 hours of game play is practically gone, it's been confirmed that the save file is corrupted (don't know how since it's only every saved to the cloud or console) now when I go on another profile it works fine its basically starting all over again but mine it doesn't. So I play on Xbox and I have a disc that includes the expansion pack of cars and dogs. However when I try to buy my first pets stuff pack, it doesn’t register that I have the expansion pack already and wants me to buy cats and dogs again. Even going through the bundle route it still wants me to pay for both. Even on sale Im not spending £20 quid for a £6 stuff pack. Hello! I play TS4 on the ps4. I am having a problem where all of my builds and sims are no longer in my library. I have one sim in my library which is my most recent household. Even builds or sims that I save from the Gallery have been wiped. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem or know of any solution. Hello guys, Never posted here before, but basically I brought 2 expansion packs on sims 4, one I brought last month and one I brought 8 months ago. I currently have a PS5 and ever since I downloaded the games on this console, one of the packs hasn't worked. I gave up trying to fix it. Now a second pack I was using, which I only brought last month has the same issue. The neighbourhood shows as locked and I dont have any of the content, but when I click it, it says I already own the pack. I've logged out and back in again, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, started a new save, restored the licenses, checked for updates nothing has worked. When I go into owned packs, I can no longer see the one I brought just a month ago and I can't use it! Hello, I’m having a problem in my game on Xbox where my sims in a relationship will que up the interactions for woohoo or try for a baby and they talk about it and as soon as they go to move to the location the interaction cancels completely. I’ve tried it with multiple sims and multiple locations. This has been happening for 2 weeks. I went to one of the festivals in San Myshuno, it went through the loading screen, I get to the festival and everything is fine. My sims look how they are supposed to, but when it’s time to leave and I send them home, after that loading screen they turn pitch black. I go into the cas to see if they still look that way in there and they do. I don’t know how to fix this. Whenever it happens to my pets I would have to just deal with it or delete them. Relationships draining fast and from romantic options?
I'm so confused as to why my sims, no negative dynamics or anything, relationship just randomly dissipates. I go to use romance to fix it and it just drains it quicker. And don't even get me started on pregnancy. For some reason every time one of my sims gets pregnant, even when married, their relationship drops to 0. This bug needs to be fixed because it completely screws over my gameplay experience and any progression of legacy challenges. When are these bugs going to be fixed? I’ve seen no update to fix them. I’m still unable to transfer funds when I move. I’m still unable to lock/unlock doors at certain houses if I move into them, and I am now unable to make changes to my sims in the same house and save them because the cat doesn’t have a breed. Console graphics adjustment loading screen
When is the graphics adjustment issue on console going to be addressed? I had to completely stop playing a save I've played since console release and now it's happening on my build saves and the new family save I started after not being able to play my old one. I thought it was due to it being a long played save but the one it's happening on now is on generation 2. After the adjustment, background items are blurry. I'm on a PS5, there's zero reason for graphics adjustments and Sims is the only game that gives me problems. Following a recent update, the colour distorts when the game loads. It changes everything to shades of greens and purples. While the game is launched it also affects the colours of the XBox menu and other options. Once the game is fully quit, colours revert. It does not happen with any other game, just Sims4. Successful lineage aspiration not completing
I would like to know if any other console. Players are having any issues with the successful lineage. Aspiration, not completing like I've had 3 Sims make it to the top of their careers while still being in their parents household and it's not completing. I don't want to cheat it because I'm trying to get my trophies on the council, but at the same time it's annoying. Anyone else having this problem? Anything else that I can do? Should I try moving them out? I'm also working on a legacy. Every save file I have on Xbox one eventually stops saving and says Error: 0. How do I fix this? Or is it just a issue with sims 4 on the console? I also have tons of storage. Also a few of the world maps have now been replaced with llama icons, I’m not sure if the two issues are connected? Whenever I try loading into any household on this one save file I have it starts loading into it and then halfway through crashes and kicks me off the game and there's no error messages or anything telling me why this is happening. I play on Xbox 1S and so I don't have any cc or mods. I've already tried things like restarting and unplugging the xbox and my game and console are all up to date. Also I noticed its only happening in this one save file as I loaded another save file and I was able to load into the household. Idk what to do about my sims packs. I have 2 different ps5’s that I have purchased packs (online through the playstation store) on. For some reason even though they are purchased under my account I can’t access all the packs on either ps5. I can only access the ones purchased on that particular device. I’ve contacted PlayStation network, EA, researched online… I still can’t figure it out. I was told to do a hard reset on my PlayStation and “revoke certificates” which still does nothing. Example: if I want to play the cottage living pack I have to use the PlayStation in the living room. If I want to play the mermaid pack I have to play on the PlayStation in the bedroom.
