has anyone recently restored their lost progress
It seems like many people including myself are revisiting the game after years of not playing and are finding our stuff reset (star cards, progression levels, weapons, career rank, skins, etc.). I've been scavenging the internet for solutions and tried basic resets on my console and all that but nothing brings them back despite my acc syncing with EA (never has been unlinked either). Can only EA fix it on their side or what?
The game keeps crashing while I'm playing!
The app almost always crashes after launching it and playing a game or so. It never crashes with other games. I've been playing this game for a long time, but this problem only started in the last month or so. I've attached the DxDiag file in hopes someone can help me.
Coming Back After A Long Time - Split Saves
Hello! I'm coming back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 after quite a while after hearing that it's had a boom in popularity recently. That's great and I'm excited to play. However, while trying to boot it up after downloading, I was confronted with the option to choose between either a local or cloud save file. The other would be deleted. I would assume that the most recent option would be best but granted that I also own the game on Xbox, the main appeal of playing on pc is using the quite high-level account I own (it has nearly 400 hours on it according to EA). I do not want to log in to find out that this is not the same account that I left back in 2022 (yes, it's been that long). There doesn't seem to be any way to determine the contents of either local or cloud save files, but I'd at least like assurance that choosing local is the best option. I'm using DX12, and it is said to be experimental and unfinished, so this just an issue with DX12? When I switched to DX11, this was fixed, but my FPS tanks drastically when I switch to DX11 so that's not ideal. Regardless, I'm worried that something's wrong with my PC anyway. I know the game has very few people working on it. But with the Influx of people playing would you guys be able to at least update the phase 1 clone troopers? They're all still bare bones... Even the officers which should at least have a pauldron and kama... They're all just...normal clones unlike phase II at least consider it....even if it's only 2 or 3 of them I just think phase 1 fans deserve some love.. plus new players can have some cool skins too for their clones. Sincerely a battlefront II fan
Lost Progress
Ever since that widespread data crash had happened I've lost a significant amount of my Progress in the game. I still have all the skins/emotes unlocked. But even some of my 80 to 200 level troopers/heros have gone down to 1. All my troops should have maxed out Star Cards and everything unlocked (i dont remember the exact levels) Same goes for MOST of my heros/villains. Some just aren't my style. But almost every Lightsaber Unit should be Maxed star cards and around level 70-100. Ive debated with EA too many times and now I got sent here to debate it. Ive done everything on my part. I tried playing a few games to see if the servers click and got "Level 2, 3, 4" when they should already be at peak. I tried Uninstalling the game, and all the data content to get a fresh installation, I tried contacting support. I dont want to Start over but ever since Andor2/Fortnite, things have been picking up and I feel like I am missing out. Please help. FiveEyeMedia / Xbox One XController is crazy
I’m experiencing a serious controller issue when using a PlayStation 5 (DualSense) controller in Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) on GeForce Now. The controller works perfectly in other games (like GTA V, FIFA, Cyberpunk), but in Battlefront II, the input stutters constantly. It behaves like it’s disconnecting and reconnecting every second — even though it works fine in the menu, once the match starts everything becomes glitchy and unresponsive. I’ve tried: - Wired and Bluetooth connections - Using Steam version and EA version - Playing from browser and GeForce Now desktop app - DS4Windows with Xbox360 emulation - Multiple PCs and networks This only happens in this specific game on GeForce Now. The controller works great locally. It seems like GFN input mapping conflicts with Battlefront II’s Xbox layout when using a DualSense. Please escalate this issue — it makes the game unplayable for anyone using a PS5 controller. Video proof available on request.
Battlefront 2 mod for ps4/5 is cheating?
there is a mod around that can improve graphics, increase fov, and greatly reduce input lag among many other things all of which should not be allowed on console. i understand i am wayyyyyyy late for this topic but it is being advertised on popular video sites alot recently. it absolutely is unfair for the regular players on console. Ever since installing and playing battlefront 2, my second monitor flickers off and on when entering/exiting ANY fullscreen application. This didnt happen until i opened battlefront 2 for the first time in a while, anyone know whats causing it? thought it was hdr but i turned that off and its still happening.Final stages of installation failed
Im tryna download star wars battlefront 2 but every time the installation gets complete it just says final stages of installation didnt go as planned. i cleared cache and reinstalled the ea app and even manually deleted all the ea related stuff in my pc and did it all over again and still the problem persists. Any fixes ?
BF2 Not Launching

Things that i tried that i can name on the top of my head. Running the game, EA app, anti cheat everything on administrator. Tried redownloading the game 6 times 4 times on steam and 1 time on epic games. Tried Reinstalling and completely deleting any trace of the EA app multiple times. Checked windows updates and driver updates everything was good. I also tried doing a safe mode launch. I tried so many other fixes that worked for others on reddit which didn't help for me. I honestly don't know what to do I just wanna play w my friends but the game refuses to launch im about to genuinely tweak wasting so much hours trying to fix this game that I never had any problems with in the past.
