Hi What is the reason for blocking Dr.Web antivirus software by Javelin Anticheat ? This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Make sure it is not running, or restart your PC. So I've played Sims since I was a kid and had an organ account with the Sims 4 and almost all of the kits/packs/etc. I got locked out when they made the switch from Origin to the EA app. The email that was linked to my account is now dead and I can't get in to it. I had my phone number and a backup email linked but for some reason it is not recognizing those. There is no customer support number and the bot is completely unhelpful. This is so incredibly frustrating, I spent so much money and time on these games and EA has no way to contact them. Even the 'start a case' function on the account management page just reroutes me to an unrelated page. I'm seriously at a loss. Now about 2 months ago at this point; I foolishly bought 2 sims expansion packs. Despite my EA app bugging out. I ended up being double charged. I had chosen PayPal pay in 4. But got charged for both pay in 4 and the total for the games. I disputed this with EA and paypal. But EA never responded. When I did get a response, the agent kept acting like they didn't understand what i meant. All the way until paypal gave me a refund for the 2nd charge. Then suddenly I got an email from EA accusing me of a charge back, warning me my account was going to be watched, etc. I'd never seen the like. So I reached out, I appealed, gave them screenshots of my charges. But they claimed that it doesn't count because they didn't charge me twice on their end I just got charged twice anyway. And they took my games. And my account still gets watched. No attempts to communicate. Just weeks and hours of effort on my end. And explaining things to agents who don't know what's happening, because what I said before isn't being kept track of. My only options are reopening the same chat and keeping to appeal this status. Meanwhile no games. It's crazy to treat someone who literally paid, and just didn't want to pay double, like this. Especially given how much I've paid this company over the years. My son's account just got banned for no reason. The account was just set up and within a day or 2 it was banned. The account was never linked to anything and never used it besides setting it up. It was stated for violating the terms and conditions but won't state the actual reason. This is absolutely crap to be doing this to your customers. This why EA has widely become known as one of the worst companies to exist and your customer service is hot garbage. EA Help is a joke. All they do is make you wait, then tell you to post on the forums. There seems to be no real way to get support for actual issues. worst customer service i have ever received. I took a long break from Apex Legends, over two years. I came back about six weeks ago and received the Comeback Pass since I had missed more than two seasons. I found it fun and was making progress through the challenges. As an average player, I often get placed in the hardest lobbies, so the Comeback Pass gave me something enjoyable to work on in matches that are otherwise frustrating. That is a another issue, it puts me in pred lobbies over and over, that player distribution chart, i am pinned to the right side every round. I am an average player and never played rank besides a couple matches till this season. That helped, people are more on my level in ranked but matches take a long time to load players. I contacted EA Help once about an issue and the case status said it was waiting for a player response. When I clicked to resume the case, I ended up in chat support. After a 46-minute wait, a rep joined the chat. I explained the issue, and they didn’t know what the Comeback Pass was. They thought I meant the Battle Pass. There were long delays between their replies, like 5 to 10 minutes each. I responded two minutes after their message, explained what the Comeback Pass was, and just as I hit enter, they ended the chat. I had only four minutes to respond. I got back in line and eventually spoke to another rep. Again, I had to explain what the Comeback Pass was. They claimed to be a player and said they knew what I meant, but clearly didn’t. It makes no sense that someone on the Apex Legends support team wouldn’t know what the Comeback Pass is. Now in that 2nd chat I received a message from EA warning me that if I’m trying to cheat them out of Apex Coins or a Battle Pass, my account could be suspended or banned. That’s completely out of line. The Comeback Pass is free content provided to returning players who’ve missed two or more seasons. I never asked for anything that costs money. I had already made it about halfway through the challenges when one day it just disappeared. I was playing the night before and planned to get one more game in before work the next morning, and it was just gone. I have an account since 2023 that I know the email and password, I can log in without any problem. I used to have the Origin app but haven't used in a while, today when I tried to open the app it says that the app wants to make changes so they need my password, I tried every password but nothing works. I then delete the app from my Mac and reinstalled, which now is the EA app, but it still doesn't work. I tried changing the password, but also doesn't work. Hey so I have a very specific problem in regards to my ea account. Essentially, I used origin for the longest time and only had 1 game on it, spore, and with the switch to the ea app I'm kinda screwed in regards to being able to login to that account. So the account itself is on a seperate email address than this one, but the problem is that I no longer have access to that email due to a technical issue seperate from ea, it was a service provider switch that locked me out of the email, and as a result, I no longer can reset my password from that email in order to log in. This wouldn't be an issue as long as I actually remembered the password or had it set to the auto-login, however I have both forgotten it and with the switch from origin to the ea app, no longer have the auto-login ability. Ea support chat is nowhere to be found, what an unbelievable company. I'm trying to unlink my Nintendo account which isn't listed in the EA account connections tab. Can anyone help me unlink this. As a slight p.s. EA refuses to patch Lost in Random on the Nintendo Switch which is riddled with a bugs and a placeholder icon on the homescreen which muddies up your game library. so originally i was trying to link my psn acc to my ea account and it said it would send a code but never did and i tried so many times but it never worked. the next day (now) im trying to again and it still isnt sending. even when i try resetting the email to a different one, adding a phone number, or try to change the password, no code will send to my email. im really sure the email is correct and my storage isnt full or anything. ive also tried looking in spam and promotions but still nothing. i have also tried getting help at the ea page but it literally just takes me to where i tried resetting my email. idk what to do atp21Views0likes2CommentsCan’t connect to ea servers
