Achievements are not available on EA Play

I want to start off by stating I am not referring to XBOX Achievements via the PC Game pass, I am aware that you cannot earn Xbox achievements playing an EA title on Gamepass. 

I am referring to the EA app itself, not a single game available on EA Play has achievements even the ones that obviously do such as The Battlefield and Need for Speed series of games. The only games that I am able to earn achievements in are the two that I own, not associated with my subscription.

Is this working as intended?  To not allow users to earn EA achievements through EA Play games?
