Limited customisation of sims

I am experiencing limited customisation of my sims in create a sim from the ages of infant-elder when it comes to trying to change their strength and weight.

 The strength and weight bars that should appear next to your sims doesn't and is due to the other bug in create a sim when clicking on the accessories button (that is on top of the shoes button and under the trousers button) causes the game to zoom into the sims hands (like it does when you click on the nails category) and that bug is also happening from the life stages infant-elder.

This occurs even with mods and cc is removed and this has all been happening on PC.

All started after the latest patch update.
