A week on The Sims Forums
Sul Sul my lovelies!
We’ve finally made it to another Friday, and what a week it’s been! Can you believe it’s already May? Time has been flying by, and it’ll be summer before we even know it. Are you all excited for warmer weather? Since I live in the south I’ll definitely be staying inside enjoying my A/C for the next few months 🥵
So what can we conjure up for this week’s highlights?

- With such a wide variety of kits available, it can be hard to pick exactly which one to add to your game, so shandy_lou97 wants to know- what are your must-have kits? For build and buy items, all the clutter kits are my absolute favorite, and for CAS nothing beats Goth Galore. Kits definitely depend on your personal playstyle, but which ones are your favorite? Are you more of a fan of all the great outfits included with each CAS kit, or do you prefer new items to decorate your builds with? Be sure to share with us which ones are your favorite and why!
- This week we are officially half way to Halloween, and what better way to embrace the spooky vibes than with this incredible renovation of the Old Ravenwood Estate, Old Ravenwood Library created by Simmingal. This sprawling gothic themed library includes a quiet poetry lounge, a dark and moody study room, a large lecture hall, and even a cozy children’s storytime and play room. So if you’re looking to curl up in front of a warm fire to practice your tarot or draft your final Will and Testament, this is the perfect spot for you! 👻🦇
- For all you history buffs and romantics out there, lucryx2000 has created the perfect challenge for you - The Famous Lovers Challenge. Your goal is to play through the story of various famous couples, some straight out of history and others from classic literature and film, like the legendary Romeo and Juliet and the controversial King Charles and Queen Camilla. There are a total of 10 couples to play through, each with their own specific set of rules and goals based on their stories, and bonus! it’s designed for the base game, so no DLC is needed to complete the challenge. Be sure to give this one a try and let us know which couple was your favorite!
- Up next, we have The Miller Legacy, which is a classic and long-running gameplay story written by HermioneSims that originally started in 2019. This story is now on generation 10, and here’s a quick recap on the origins if you’re not caught up- this legacy began with Stuart and Sylvia Miller, a quiet and unassuming couple who unexpectedly finds themselves as the subjects of an otherworldly plot to replace the human race 🛸 The story focuses on each of the following generations as they unravel the mysteries of their true origin and strive to live a normal life. This sci-fi story is full of emotion, mystery and thrills, so be sure to tune in and see what happens next
- Writing and painting are probably my favorite skills to play with (and a great way to make money!) but sometimes Sims choose to write about some really strange things, so mikkimouse1978 wants to know, what are some of the weirdest books your Sims have written? A few of my personal favorites from my Sims have been a horror novel entitled Cowplant Mother-In-Law, a fantasy story called Cat Lord, Cat Counsel, and of course, the best-selling biography, Llama Man, A Secret History. But tell us about the books your Sims has authored- do you write custom titles and descriptions, or do you prefer to go off the pre-generated prompts? Does your Sim stick to one particular genre, or are they a jack of all trades? Be sure to share all your favorite written books with us! ✍🏽📚
And that will finish us up for this week! As always, stay safe everyone, have a wonderful weekend, and happy Mother’s Day for everyone celebrating this Sunday 💚
Till next time!
